Hello!

My name is Alex Kent, and I’m one of the therapists at the Treehouse who works with adolescent and adult populations. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, neurodivergent related topics, grief, and trauma; however, much of my passion as a therapist pertains to helping my clients become more aware of their personal values. The more you learn about yourself, the more you can align your personal goals with your authentic self. To support my clients in this process, I utilize Person-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Sandtray, and RPG Play Therapy.

Outside of the office, I enjoy costume-making and cosplay, playing music, listening to audiobooks, and cooking. I enjoy finding new ways of play so I can discover new ways to express myself and my feelings. I’d love to meet you and find out how you express yourself, too!
