Kellie Miller
(she, her)
Hi, I’m Kellie (she/her). I am a graduate student intern from the New Mexico Highlands Facundo Valdez School of Social Work. I started interning with the Treehouse in August 2022 and am soaking up every opportunity to learn from the amazing clinicians here.

I enjoy working with both children and adults. I am especially interested in supporting family systems, including couples and caregiver – child relationships. I think it is important to look at people through the context of their environment. When we look at factors at play in the larger picture, we can better understand how and why struggles arise. This knowledge fosters self-awareness and helps us select the right tools for therapy.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my children outside. Having grown up in New York and Pennsylvania, I adore New Mexico’s year-round blue skies and sunshine and I never get tired of it!
