I’m Issa Bustria (she/her), a Master’s student in Social Work at New Mexico Highlands University. I’m passionate about supporting children and neurodivergent individuals, inspired by my past work as a crisis hotline responder and community support worker.

 

With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of New Mexico, I bring empathy, warmth, and a dedicated approach to therapy, focusing on creating safe, engaging spaces for growth and learning.

 

Outside of my studies and work, I love spending time with my family and friends, as well as my dogs, Mocha and Chevy. I’m a huge fan of Kuromi, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Young Sheldon, and The Big Bang Theory. I also enjoy camping, hiking, board games, and building Legos.
