I’m currently completing my Master’s in Counseling at Southwestern College in Santa Fe, with additional certifications in Ecotherapy, Trauma, Grief & Renewal, and Interpersonal Neurobiology. My approach to counseling is humanistic and trauma-informed, and I bring a grounded, heart-centered presence into the therapy space. I care deeply about cultivating relationships where people feel safe to be themselves, and I aim to hold a balance of thoughtful structure, warmth, and attunement.
Before entering the counseling field, I served as a Maternal and Child Health Specialist in the Peace Corps, supporting women, families, and birth workers, and later worked as an organic farm manager and community health advocate. These experiences shaped my belief in the power of genuine connection and the importance of meeting people where they are.
As a New Mexican woman with deep ancestral and cultural roots in this land, I feel a strong calling to serve local families and communities. I value honoring the rhythms, histories, and lived experiences of this place, and I aim to offer care that feels culturally grounded, relational, and real.
I hold a strong interest in somatic and nervous system–informed work and bring attention to the body as an essential part of understanding emotions, lived experience, and healing. I continue to deepen my training in approaches that support regulation and resilience while strengthening our capacity for connection.
Outside of work, I’m most at home in nature, caring for my child and loved ones, practicing yoga, and engaging in creative pursuits. These everyday practices of slowing down, creating, and connecting support my own wellbeing, and naturally inform how I show up with people across all stages of life.
