Summary: In this training, therapists will explore strategies to support communication and collaboration with parents of children engaged in play therapy services and how to support them throughout the entire play therapy process. Topics of communication, hands on techniques and overcoming unique challenges will be addressed.
Objectives:
1. Enhanced Communication Skills: By the end of this training, participants will be able to identify and practice at least 3 effective communication strategies for engaging parents in play therapy.
2. Increased Parental Engagement: Participants will work to identify at least 2 hands on techniques to increase parent engagement during the play therapy process.
