Jenna Koors, LMSW
(she, her)
Hi! My name is Jenna. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), a mom, and a hard-core Lord of The Rings fan.
I earned my bachelor’s degree from The University of New Mexico in Sociology and Family Studies and my master’s degree in Social Work from Simmons University. For the past 13 years, I have served diverse populations in both New Mexico and Ohio working in agency-based, home-based, residential treatment, and inpatient settings serving people ages 2 to 92!
In my work I use a broad spectrum of interventions including evidence-based modalities like TF-CBT, Mindfulness, AARC, Behavior Modification, Play Therapy, Neurosequential Model, Solution-Focused Family therapy and more. I enjoy working with children and families from a trauma informed and attachment-based perspective.
I am dedicated to advocating for the needs of children and families affected by trauma and inspiring healthy caregiver-infant attachment to promote healing for generations to come.
