Caroline Hogeveen

(she, her)

Hi! My name is Caroline, I am a Clinical Counseling Intern here at the Treehouse. I received my bachelor's degree in English Literature from Vanderbilt University and spent the following years working as a writer and editor. In this role, I fell in love with the process of healing through sharing our stories - which is what brought me to the counseling field! I am currently in my final year of UNM's Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master's program and began my internship at The Treehouse in August of 2023. I have experience working with individuals from toddlerhood to middle age, and I'm passionate about giving clients a space to share their own stories while embracing their individuality and personal strengths. I am also a big believer in the healing power of laughter... so expect the occasional joke or two.

When I am not working or studying, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two young children. I also love to run, watch documentaries, and write. I consider it a massive privilege to work with clients, learn about their victories and struggles, and become a source of encouragement and support, and it's a privilege I do not take for granted. Thank you for letting me play a role in your journey, and I look forward to meeting you!
